What you need:
The Shadowbox:
1. Place the wood backing of the shadowbox onto the scrapbook paper
2. Trace the shape with pencil
3. Cut out the paper carefully
4. Liberally apply the spray adhesive glue to the board
5. Carefully press the paper onto the board.
Rus Figurine:
1. Heat the glue gun
2. Cut a small rectangle out of the fabric, enough to cover the figurine's head
3. Cut a larger piece of fabric, enough to wrap around the figurine from under the arms until the feet
4. Do the same for each arm
5. Finally, cut a small piece of fabric to cover the uncovered gap between the chest and head.
6. Use the glue gun to carefully secure the clothing onto "Ruth"
7. Put a dab of glue on each foot and secure it to the center of the shadowbox frame
8. Carefully bend "Ruth" until it looks like she's reaching for the ground
The Wheat:
1. Pinch a nice bunch of fake dried grass.
2. Tie it together with the twine. Make a double knot and cut off extra string.
3. Repeat this 3 times.
4. Lean the 3 sheaves of "wheat" against one side of the shadowbox.
5. Lift each sheave a little, put a dab of hot glue under it, and quickly place the "wheat" back on the glue to secure it.
6. Put another dab of glue on the other side of "Ruth" and sprinkle some loose "wheat" onto it.
The Letters:
1. Trace or print the words כי אשר תלכי אלך onto colored cardstock paper
2. Cut out the letters
3. Put a dot of Sculpey clay or FunTak on the back of each letter
4. Stick the letters onto the shadowbox backing, with two words on each row, near the top.
Put the backing onto the frame, secure it, and admire your beautiful scene.
